Confidential Design Firm

Job Description

About The Company:

This Dallas-based interior design firm has earned a reputation as one of the most trusted design studios in Dallas. The firm offers end-to-end design services across high-end residential and commercial spaces, covering everything from architectural detailing and space planning to furniture, finishes, lighting, and art. Their work has been featured in Veranda, Luxe Interiors + Design, The Wall Street Journal, and Architectural Digest Pro, and she has been named a D Home Best Designer every year from 2018 through 2026.

The Team:

This is a small, tight-knit team led by the founder themselves, supported by a group of lead designers, a procurement manager, an office manager/marketing assistant, and a fractional financial services firm. This role sits at the center of it all serving as the connective tissue.

The Role:

The firm is looking for a proactive, anticipatory and operationally sharp, creative problem-solver to serve as the connective tissue of the firm. This person will work directly with the founder to keep the business running smoothly, own her special projects, and fill the gaps that have accumulated as the firm has grown.

Essentials:

  • Acts as the right hand to the Principal, ensuring priorities and initiatives are executed efficiently
  • Owns special projects from start to finish (including short-term rental setup, internal initiatives, and firm events)
  • Coordinates and tracks team priorities and deadlines, ensuring follow-through and accountability
  • Supports communication and workflow between the firm and outsourced accounting team
  • Takes ownership of firm culture, planning events, celebrations, and team experiences
  • Manages office operations and HR coordination including benefits, onboarding logistics, and day-to-day needs
  • Handles light bookkeeping tasks including inputting and allocating team hours to projects, reconciling items, and cutting checks
  • Operates with a high level of autonomy, proactively identifying needs and executing without waiting for direction
  • Maintains strong organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Doesn't wait to be told what to do; they anticipate, execute, and follow through

Benefits:

Salary $80-100k, depending on experience

Health/Vision/Dental Insurance

401K after 1 year of employment
