ERP Business Analyst – Remote (US-Based)

Job Description

Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven ERP Business Analyst to optimize and manage the enterprise resource planning systems that support LockedIn AI’s growing business operations. This role sits at the intersection of business processes and technology. You will ensure our operational systems — including finance, subscription management, procurement, reporting, and cross-functional workflows — are efficient, automated, and scalable. You will work closely with teams across finance, operations, engineering, and leadership to design better processes, configure ERP systems, and ensure our operational infrastructure grows alongside a product serving over 1M+ users globally. Key Responsibilities Business Process Analysis & Optimization Map and analyze existing operational workflows across finance, procurement, HR, and subscription management. Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and manual processes that can be automated. Conduct gap analyses between current and future operational states. Design scalable, optimized end-to-end business workflows. Facilitate process improvement workshops with cross-functional stakeholders. ERP System Configuration & Administration Configure and manage ERP modules including finance, billing, procurement, and reporting. Maintain system structures such as chart of accounts, approval hierarchies, workflows, and user permissions. Build automated workflows for invoices, purchase orders, expenses, and financial processes. Manage subscription billing processes including upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and revenue recognition. Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Management Work with finance, operations, product, and engineering teams to gather business requirements. Translate business needs into functional specifications and system configurations. Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirement sessions. Act as the liaison between technical teams and business users. System Integration & Data Management Design integrations between ERP and other business tools such as CRM systems, payment processors, and analytics platforms. Ensure accurate and real-time data synchronization between systems. Maintain data integrity across all integrated platforms. Manage data migration during ERP upgrades or implementations. Reporting & Business Intelligence Develop reports and dashboards that provide visibility into operational and financial metrics. Build reports covering revenue, subscription metrics, cash flow, and expense tracking. Implement automated reporting workflows to reduce manual reporting tasks. Support financial close processes, audit preparation, and compliance reporting. Testing, Training & Change Management Design and execute test plans for ERP updates and system changes. Create documentation, training materials, and user guides. Support ERP adoption by leading user training and onboarding. Maintain system documentation including workflows, integrations, and configuration details. Required Qualifications Experience 3+ years of experience as an ERP Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst. Proven experience configuring and optimizing ERP systems in production environments. Experience gathering requirements and working with cross-functional stakeholders. Experience working with finance, operations, and engineering teams. Startup or high-growth company experience is preferred. Education Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields or related disciplines: Business Administration Information Systems Finance or Accounting Computer Science ERP certifications such as NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics are a plus. Technical Skills Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, or Sage Intacct. Experience integrating ERP systems using APIs, middleware, or webhooks. Proficiency with SQL for querying and validating ERP data. Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI. Understanding of SaaS financial metrics including MRR, ARR, churn, LTV, and revenue recognition. Preferred Qualifications Experience implementing or administering NetSuite. Familiarity with subscription billing platforms such as Stripe, Chargebee, or Recurly. Experience with revenue recognition frameworks such as ASC 606. Experience supporting financial audits or compliance processes. Background in SaaS, career technology, or edtech companies.
